2023-06-19

On June 16, the 13th China International Trademark and Brand Festival (referred to as the Trademark and Brand Festival) opened in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. The event was co-hosted by the China Trademark Association, Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration, and Dongguan Municipal People's Government.

The theme of this year’s festival is "Trademark Empowering New Development, Brand Leading Dual Circulation." It includes the 17th China Trademark Annual Conference, the 2023 China Brand Trademark Expo, and a series of themed activities. The Trademark Annual Conference continues its international focus with forums such as the International Trademark Legal Dynamics Forum, INTA Forum, Madrid Trademark International Registration Roundtable, and China-Japan Trademark Exchange Meeting. These forums invite trademark and brand experts from both domestic and international arenas to share the latest information on international trademark laws and provide enterprises with the latest trademark and brand information for international competition and cooperation.

SeaArea, as a leading international intellectual property service provider in China, was invited to participate in this event. SeaArea aims to enhance the international competitiveness of Chinese brands and has made significant contributions to expanding Chinese brands overseas with its "Digital +" approach, innovating the traditional intellectual property industry.

SeaArea Vice President and General Manager of SeaArea IP, Ms. Liu Lifen (center), attended the conference.

During the event, Vice President Liu Lifen and her team engaged in discussions with renowned overseas law firms on topics such as the digital transformation of the intellectual property industry, overseas perspectives on the development of Chinese brands, and the impact of artificial intelligence on brand development.

Vice President Liu Lifen explored the establishment and integration of a digital trademark ecosystem with prominent law firms from the US, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. They reached a consensus on the development direction of the "Digital +" concept in brand planning, and SeaArea will further collaborate with leading international law firms to advance the digitalization process of intellectual property.

Since 2010, SeaArea has been deeply serving Chinese export enterprises, with over one-third of China’s top 500 companies among its clients. The company has extensive experience in global brand strategy and rights protection.

Addressing the needs of Chinese enterprises going global and the pain points in trademark management, SeaArea has innovatively developed the "Intelligent IP Management Platform" and the "Global Trademark Search System." These tools integrate international trademark searches, full lifecycle trademark management, and detailed fee management functions, providing one-stop global trademark layout services through cooperation with renowned law firms in over 100 countries.
