SeaArea Partners with Xiamen University EMBA Alumn

Mr. Tan Hongxing, Chairman of SeaArea Technology Group, delivered the opening speech, stating that the values of SeaArea Technology Group are highly aligned with the motto of Xiamen University. He welcomed the opportunity to communicate and collaborate with Xiamen University alumni engaged in cross-border activities.

Following that, He Jian, Director of the Xiamen University EMBA South China Education Center in Shenzhen, expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality of SeaArea and thanked the Xiamen University EMBA alumni for their enthusiastic invitation and meticulous organization. He affirmed the numerous case studies of Fortune 500 export enterprises served by SeaArea and the various self-developed digital systems.

Jiang Yaqiu, the main organizer of the cross-border alumni exchange, spoke, stating that due to fierce domestic market competition, many enterprises are turning to overseas markets. As a cross-border service provider, he looks forward to the continuous holding of activities through the cross-border alumni exchange to provide valuable information and resources for alumni, encouraging cooperation among alumni to jointly face challenges.

Chen Lihua, General Manager of Shenzhen SeaArea Information Technology and a 2022 alumnus of Xiamen University EMBA, presented a theme on "Overseas Intellectual Property Rights". Through specific cases, he showcased the problems and solutions that cross-border enterprises encounter in trademark, patent, and domain name protection. By analyzing enterprise cases, he shared strategies for trademark, patent, and domain name protection, and introduced SeaArea's experience in using digital tools and professional services to help enterprises build overseas brands, which inspired the alumni present.

Fan Guodong, the head of the overseas warehouse technology team of Alibaba Cainiao Network and a 2019 alumnus of Xiamen University EMBA, brought a "Cainiao International Logistics Sharing". He emphasized that overseas warehouses are not only about the storage link but also cover the entire supply chain service including international sea transportation, customs clearance, warehouse management, and final delivery. He shared the specific practices and challenges of Cainiao Network in overseas warehouse business, and through actual cases and data, demonstrated the exploration and efforts of Cainiao Network in improving operational efficiency and optimizing cost structure.
